These improvements are often referred to as “boosting” and are becoming the standard for competitions such as tournaments.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is available up to 128 tickrate. These servers are up to 32 slots at these settings.

Team Fortress 2 being an Orange-box game operates at a 66 tickrate standard. At this time, it is no longer possible to run these game servers at 100 tickrate and it is not recommended as it can cause issues.
